Wow, they sure do grow fast, don’t they? People say this to my sister all the time. Her daughter is four, turning five in February. It seems like only yesterday she was just a wittow baybee! Now she’s so big! That’s how I feel about my blog. Except that it is ok when I neglect my blog for weeks on end; my sister has no such luxury.
But similarly, my blog has gone through phases, made changes, and ultimately grown, if not in size, at least in tone, content, and influence. And if none of those are true, there are at least a whole bunch more words that I’ve typed and are posted on the internet. Undeniable facts are often the most effective.
What have I to say after four years of blogging (besides “holy crap, I’ve been blogging for four years”)? I dunno. Not much I guess. Just that I’m gonna keep on doin’ it. And hopefully, someday, that I’ll actually do the big overhaul to the site that I’ve been wanting to for so long. Then you’ll be all like, “wow, this blog is getting cool”. And by “you”, I mean my mom, obviously, as my one faithful reader. Love you, mom.
So cheers to four years of b+c; thanks for reading, and here’s a picture of some really pretty clam chowder. Happy eating.

One day you will be blog-famous and I will be able to say “I knew her when!” (actually, I am pretty sure I will still know you.) Anyway, welcome b+c, to your cute know-it-all phase (that’s what happens when one turns 4, right?). <3!

Haha, totally. I mean, b+c isn’t bossy… it just knows what you should be eating.

Congratulations on four great years! I am glad to see you have other, faithful readers (although I am jealous!). And as always….you made me laugh! My favorite entry may be from your travel blog, but it was about a restaurant, so I am counting it. It was the one about the Ethiopian restaurant in Australia. You were more sarcastic back then. I like your more professional, restaurant critic style as well. Love you too, blog daughter!
